Privacy Policy — Friendzy

Friendzy ("we", "our", or "the app") is a party game app for iOS. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the app.

1. Information we collect

Information stored only on your device

Friendzy stores the following preferences locally on your device using your device's built-in storage (Apple's UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server:

  • Whether you have completed the first-launch walkthrough.
  • Your sound effects preference (on/off).
  • Your haptic feedback preference (on/off).

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information. We do not require you to create an account to use Friendzy.

Game content

All game prompts (questions, dares, words, trivia) are bundled inside the app itself. No prompt data is sent to or fetched from a remote server during gameplay.

In-app purchases

Premium pack purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information. Apple's purchase records are tied to your Apple ID; we only receive a receipt confirmation to unlock content on your device.

2. Information we do not collect

  • We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports.
  • We do not show advertisements in the initial release.
  • We do not track your location.
  • We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library.
  • We do not sell or share any personal data with third parties.

3. Children

Friendzy is a party game app intended for use by groups of players. It is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no personal information is collected at all, there is no child-specific data to handle.

4. Future updates

If a future version of Friendzy adds analytics, advertising, or any other data collection, this privacy policy will be updated before those features are released. The updated policy will be available at this page and linked from within the app.

5. Your choices

  • You can clear all on-device preferences by deleting and reinstalling the app.
  • In-app purchase restoration is handled through your Apple ID via App Store settings.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
